Garagiste: Blood Moon 375ml Bottle

The label features a group of photos of the rare super moon lunar eclipse snapped by one of our neighbors back in May 22’.

The mead was made and fermented during this rare astronomical phenomenon.

As the name implies, this one is a deep scarlet red. We used some exquisite Mexican Orange Blossom Honey. To it we added the juice of over 1,000lbs of Black Plums by way of Brazil. Then topped with an absurd amount of Grade A Fancy Strawberries and Blackberries from here in the States.

We let this one ferment naturally for a few days before hitting it with a blend of yeasts to known to throw off floral and raspberry esters. We then aged it on a mix of American Oak, Sugar Maple and Amburana
